Daniel Steed
Biography
Daniel Steed is Clinical Associate Professor in Cybersecurity at NYU.
Professor Steed has also been a Visiting Lecturer in War Studies (Cyber Security) in the War Studies Department of King’s College London. He has also been a Lecturer in Cyber Security at the Defense Academy of the United Kingdon.
He specialises in the fields of war studies, strategic studies, intelligence studies, and cybersecurity.
His most recent book is titled The Politics and Technology of Cyber Security, released in paperback in 2021.
Professor Steed previously worked in The UK Cabinet Office in operational cybersecurity.
As a consultant he has worked with a wide range of industries advising and delivering cybersecurity guidance and training. As a public speaker, Danny delivers thought leadership messaging and simulation exercises internationally.
