About the Social Science Encyclopedia
Founded by Aiden Singh in 2019, the Encyclopedia makes social scientific ideas and debate accessible to a general audience. It publishes line-by-line breakdowns of the most influential articles and books in the social sciences, easy-to-read explainers of important social scientific concepts, and interviews with professors at the world’s leading universities, central bankers, and advisors to heads of government.
Contributors have included professors at the London School of Economics (LSE), Columbia University, New York University (NYU), Oxford University, Cambridge University, and Cornell University; former monetary policy makers at the Bank of England and the Reserve Bank of India; a U.S. presidential nominee to head a federal government agency; a former director of the Indian Stock Exchange, and former advisors to the Prime Ministers of the United Kingdom and Greece.
